Desde sua primeira edição, o Femina se propõe a ser um espaço de debate e reflexão, aliando o universo audiovisual, através da exibição de filmes e vídeos, a discussões e encontros, a fim de levantar temas relevantes em diversas áreas da sociedade em torno das questões de gênero.

Por isso, o Femina realiza todos os anos um Fórum de Debates em parceria com instituições como a Secretaria Especial de Políticas para as Mulheres, o Instituto Avon, o UNIFEM – Fundo de Desenvolvimento das Nações Unidas para a Mulher, o Fundo Social Elas, e outras.

O Fórum de Debates do Femina 2010 é constituído de quatro mesas e um encontro com a presença de convidados dos meios cinematográfico, cultural, social, político e intelectual.

From the first edition of the festival, Femina is proposed to be a space for debate and reflection, conjugating the audiovisual universe, by showing films and videos, to discussions and meetings, in order to bring up relevant themes surrounding gender issues in diverse areas of society.

That’s why every year, Femina holds a Debate Forum with the partnership of the Special Office for Policies for Women, the Avon Institute, UNIFEM – the United Nations Development Fund for Women, the Elas Social Fund, and others.

The Femina 2010 Debate Forum consists of four panels and one meeting with guest from the cinematographic, cultural, social, political and intellectual circles.
