DEBATE FORUM

Femina endorses the social responsibility of several sorts of art, especially audiovisual art, since they exercise a huge influence on society and are a kind of portrait (a historical document, actually) of its changes in the course of the years.

Therefore, a film festival particularly focused on women’s cinematography must take this chance, with all its guests and professionals behind the stage, to discuss the representation and positioning of women in the audiovisual area and society – being both inseparable.

The organization of this Debate Forum has been made possible due to the important and irreplaceable partnership between Femina, Special Secretary of Women Politics, UNIFEM – United Nation Development Fund for Women – Consulado da Mulher (NGO) and Ângela Borba Funds.
